Joan contacted us from Audubon NJ with a sofa she wanted to get re-upholstered. She sent us a photo and after discussing her wishes, we gave her a quote. She told us to come get it.
When we got there, we pointed out some weak spots in the spring work. She said she noticed them when she sat in the sofa and that the cushions were very lumpy. "Please fix all of that so I can use it - I want this to be my last sofa."
She wanted to go fabric shopping with her sister, so we measured and told her to get 14 yards. She found a golden-olive velvet that was just right. And got 16 yards - the extra in case of a spill on a cushion.
The delivery was a gleeful event - she had her last sofa!
It is striking - with the continuous wood surround and high turned-in arms framing the luminous velvet. The coordinating gimp and skip-spaced nails accent all of it.
