Furniture Frame Need Refinishing?

Furniture with new upholstery fabric next to a care-worn wooden frame can look disjointed.  Sometimes shabby is not so chic.

We routinely refinish chair and sofa frames using industrial wood stains and finishes from Valspar.  A recent trend has been to refinish the frames in a 'paint' style finish.  Often with glaze and distressing as accents.

The wood finishing is done after removal of the old upholstery and before the replacement upholstery work begins.
